Hi guys,

It's been two mounths since I have posted something.
I have been quite busy actually, but I did not stop playing or judging.

I have been Head Judge at YCS Lille (making my 7th European YCS as a judge!), and will be in Francfurt to judge for the 3rd time an European Championship.

But, I don't have time to update the blog with interesting stuff.

I won't delete it, just in case.
So maybe in the future if I manage to find the time, I'll continue writing.

But until then,

Decklist from YCS Austin

Hello everyone,

This past weekend, in Texas, the YCS Austin took place, where 1342 players tried  to show off their skills and decks.

The top 32 was made of :

- 5 Fire Fist
- 3 Dino Rabbit

- 1 Wind-Up

Duel Zone #1

Hello everyone,

Sunday 17th of April, in Paris, OTK Expert (a french magazine) and Strataegyc (a french association) organized a tournament where 120 players tried to win 3 booster boxes of Cosmos Blazer, (and if you could reach the top 8, you already won 1 display.)

After 7 rounds and a top 16,  the two finalist decided to split the prices, making them go home with 2,5 booster boxes of Cosmo Blazer each.

The Top 16 contained :
- 5 Mermail
- 5 Fire Fist
- 2 HERO
- 1 Six Samurai
- 1 Karakuri
- 1 Chaos Dragon
- 1 Wind-Up

Decklist from YCS Miami!!

This past weekend in Miami Florida, a YCS took place. There were 1080 players over there, trying to get the first YCS title of 2013.

The Top 16 players was composed of :

Each time a new set comes from the OCG to the TCG, some cards get censored, either because the card shows too much nudity, too much violence, or simply seems too religious.

Tournament - Strataegyc - Road to Bochum

Hello everyone,

I live near Paris in France, and I was wondering if some news about my country would interest some of my readers.
From now, I will try to post tournaments result to show what's hot in Paris.

Sunday February 3rd they were a tourney in Paris, organized by Strataegyc.

Strataegyc is a association which organize tournaments of Pokemon, Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! in Paris, in the local of Epita situated 14 rue de Voltaire 94276 Kremlin Bicêtre.

The point of this tourney is to offer to the winner the amount of 150€ to help him finance his trip to the next YCS (Miami or Bochum),but not in cash of course.

Old Synchros are getting better!!

Do you remember the synchro era? Of course you do. Some synchro monsters are still used these days.

But do you remember those ones ?

Recently ,OCG released some better version of those monster.

Hello everyone,

I went to YCS Barcelona, for playing this time. I didn't judge because I wasn't selected, and it was the first time out of 9, simply because no one can be selected everytime. ^^

So I went with others french players, and I really had a great weekend, thanks to them.

I decided to play Dino Rabbit, with Macro Cosmos in it of course.
There is what I played:

A while ago, I did an article about Inzektor, and I was pretty proud of it. So I will try to do the same about another archetype : Mermail & Atlantean.
I'm not gonna talk about every single cards that countains those archetypes, but just about the deck which gathers the two.
They both came around the same moment in Yu-Gi-Oh! history and they were destined to work together.

YCS Seattle/Tacoma - Decklists

Hello,

The last YCS was in Seattle/Tacoma this weekend, and 756 players came to participate.
The event was won by Michael Stibbins and his deck Inzektor.

Return of Duelist - Censorship

Hello everyone,
Like I did for the previous sets, I will do an article about the censorship in the latest set which came out in TCG in August : Return of the Duelist.

Every time a set come from the OCG to the TCG, some cards get little changes.
I'm not talking about effect or ATK, I'm talking about their artwork.
For some reason, the game in TCG is supposed to be appropriate for little kids or whatever, so some content must be controlled. Therefore, card artworks are redraw to appear less agressive, horrific, or sexual.
