My YCS Barcelona Report
Hello everyone,
I went to YCS Barcelona, for playing this time. I didn't judge because I wasn't selected, and it was the first time out of 9, simply because no one can be selected everytime. ^^
So I went with others french players, and I really had a great weekend, thanks to them.
I decided to play Dino Rabbit, with Macro Cosmos in it of course.
There is what I played:

Mermail
A while ago, I did an article about Inzektor, and I was pretty proud of it. So I will try to do the same about another archetype : Mermail & Atlantean.
I'm not gonna talk about every single cards that countains those archetypes, but just about the deck which gathers the two.
They both came around the same moment in Yu-Gi-Oh! history and they were destined to work together.

All About Cheating Part 1
Hey yo everybody, Nicolas here again !!
Today i would like share with you the big recurent sujet at Yu-Gi-Oh ... The Cheating !!
Cheating is an unfortunate part of any game that has ever come into existence, and it only gets worse when there are prizes involved or a reward of any kind for winning.
This problem is especially rampant in the world of trading card games, like the Yu-Gi-Oh. There are all kinds of cheaters in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh, but there are ways to spot, stop and prevent these kinds of problems from occurring.
This article is intended to help honest players, not to give ideas to those who are dishonest and looking for an easy win, so here are some of the top ways to prevent cheating.

Return of Duelist - Censorship
Hello everyone,
Like I did for the previous sets, I will do an article about the censorship in the latest set which came out in TCG in August : Return of the Duelist.
Every time a set come from the OCG to the TCG, some cards get little changes.
I'm not talking about effect or ATK, I'm talking about their artwork.
For some reason, the game in TCG is supposed to be appropriate for little kids or whatever, so some content must be controlled. Therefore, card artworks are redraw to appear less agressive, horrific, or sexual.
Below are the censored cards from Return of the Duelist :

Astral Pack 1 - Spoiler
From Konami :
So it’s time for a new tournament pack series. But what do we call it? Something cool. It needs to be something related to Zexal. (”Feelin’ the Flow”… no, that’s too long.) Something about Dueling. Since we’re adding more foil (more about that in a bit!) it needs to be something shiny….
Shiny? Cool? Dueling? Only one thing fits the bill! After all, who else has an incredible knowledge of all things Dueling? So coming soon, when you participate in officially sanctioned events, you’ll receive the all-new, and shinier-than-ever ASTRAL PACK ONE.

DSF Number 2 now available for TCG
Do you remember this dude?
This dude can, all by himself, deal 4000 damage to your opponents life point, by attacking and by tributing himself for his effect. And before being tributed, he can activates his effect on other monsters you control to inflict damage equal to its level x200 to your opponent.
This very powerful card is of course forbidden. But a new card, which is a little like him, will be available for play soon.
Now, meet the new Dark Strike Fighter, Superdreadnought Rail Cannon Gustav Max :

French National
Hello everyone,
This past weekend the french national took place in the same place the YCS Paris did, and last year national championship did too.
The French Champion of 2012 is Sebastien Ma, and he won with his Wind-Up deck, defeating Tudor Mitchel and his Inzektor in the final match.
504 Players were in Paris to battle for the title of Champion of France 2012, and all of them struggled with the new rule which came out a few days before the tournament.

YCS Toulouse report
Hi everyone,
I was the Assistant Head Judge for YCS Toulouse, and I liked it. I was probably chosen because I am french, and the Head Judge was not.
There were only 435 players, so it wasn't really challenging (as a judge) so I wasn't busy all the time as I expected.

The Emptiness of Vanity's Fiend

When Yu-Gi-Oh! first came out, they was a limited card list in the rulebook, where cards like Change of Heart, Monster Reborn, Dark Hole and the five pieces of Exodia was on it. And today, 9 of the 10 are still forbidden.
And now I will tell you the top 5 of booster sets containing the most forbidden cards. (excluing the reedition packs)
N°5 : We have two sets at N°5, each one containing only 2 forbidden cards :

Poll result
On this blog there was a poll, a yes-or-no question about the future of Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning in the Limited cards list. So the question was "BLS re-banned?" and 47 people answered. 61% responded "Yes" (BLS rebanned), and 38% responded "No". And now that we know the ban list, we can confirm that BLS stays Limited, so 61% of the people who voted were wrong.
The next pole on this blog is "Which deck is the Best ?" and they are 4 possible answer "Inzektor", "Rabbit", "Wind-Up" and "Other". The poll is on the right top corner of the blog.
So, Who's the best?

All you should know about Inzektors.
On the newly released set Order of Chaos, the Ninja and the Wind-Up archetypes are now powered-up with new interesting cards, but the most played cards of the set are probaly the Inzektors. Why? Because it's cheaper thant Wind-up, and stronger than Ninjas.
The deck Inzektor is a dark-based deck with only 4 different new cards, Inzektor Hornet, Inzektor Dragonfly, Inzektor Centipede, and Inzektor Giga-Mantis (there are more Inzektor cards but only those 4 are played)

Order of Chaos Censorship
Hello and Welcome into the censorship of the newly released set Order of Chaos.
Every time a set goes from OCG to TCG, some card pictures get changed. Those changes can be from tiny details (a removed halo or horn) to a redraw of the card. In the last set (Photon Shockwave) only 4 of the 90 cards from OCG have been censored.
In this set there are 5 cards censored :
